Laser Hair Removal

We are pleased to offer laser hair removal with the use of Cynosure lasers TKS (a scientific advance in medical laser technology allowing only hair follicles to be selected by the laser energy.  Surrounding skin is spared from damage).  This process brings you desired cosmetic results with clinical knowledge  needed to be safe. The FDA has approved laser hair removal for permanent reduction. 

The lasers will only treat actively growing hair, so most people will need an average of five treatments, some more, some less.  You will follow-up in 2 to 3 weeks, and the next treatment will be in 6 to 8 weeks.

The laser’s air cooling system blankets your skin with cool air before, during, and after the procedure,

which keeps you comfortable.

Spider Veins

Millions of people are bothered by Spider veins on the face and legs.  Spider veins are red, bluish, or purple veins that can be a result of sun exposure, use of oral contraceptives, hormone therapy, aging, or heredity.

Cynosure laser technology is an effective treatment for Spider veins on the legs and face.  We now offer this treatment in our office.  We can treat veins up to 3mm in size. 

Through a laser beam, the right dose of energy is delivered to the veins.  The laser heats up the vessel, causing it to disappear. 

You can expect the area to look worse before it looks better, almost like a bruise, but you will love the results.   Some times 2-3 treatments are required.  You can expect to follow up in 2 to 3 weeks and have the next treatment in 6 to 8 weeks.

Pigmented Lesions

Age spots (also called liver spots) are flat brown areas that are usually found on the face, hands, back and feet.  Usually these spots are associated with aging, but sun exposure and also be a factor. 

We offer laser treatment in our office to remove the age spots. 

Generally, the treated area will turn darker in color, and will then slough off in a couple of weeks.

Several treatments are usually needed, and are scheduled approximately every three weeks.

Laser Facial

The Laser Facial is an FDA approved procedure used to help promote collagen for wrinkle reduction.  It can also have good results on rosacea, acne scars, sun damage, etc. 

Chronic exposure to the sun’s UV rays causes photo damage (the most obvious signs are: coarsening of skin texture, irregular pigmentation, enlarged blood vessels and pores).  Laser facial treatment visibly improves sun damage through the use of Cynosure Laser Technology.  We recommend 4-6 treatments for the best results, at 2 week intervals.  You may want to have a maintenance treatment every 3-6 months to keep the best results.
